Workforce AI is most useful when it helps people understand an operational record and act on it responsibly. Evaluate the information it can access, the evidence behind its answers, and the decisions that remain with a manager.
Ask questions grounded in the operation
Start with a specific task: understanding an attendance exception, finding a policy, summarising a request, or explaining a coverage option. An answer needs the right site, date, policy, and permission context. A fluent summary alone is not proof that the underlying record is correct.
Radin’s AI task framework includes a workforce assistant, request summaries, attendance explanations, and structured policy-change proposals. Test the tasks available in your deployment against known examples. Ask what happens when information is missing or the model is unavailable.
Separate explanations from decisions
Managers should be able to inspect the operational evidence before approving a change. A model’s wording should not silently change calculated hours, policy rules, or the order of coverage options produced by a decision engine. Identify the action and its approval boundary explicitly.
In Radin, coverage explanations describe engine-produced options rather than reordering them. Administrative policy changes are proposed as structured edits for confirmation. During evaluation, test an ambiguous instruction and an unauthorised request, not only the successful demonstration path.
Choose the data-processing boundary deliberately
Ask which tasks use employee information, where inference runs, and whether a configured provider can receive that information. On-premise, hybrid, and cloud deployment choices have different data-processing implications. A blanket claim that all AI data always stays on-site is not enough.
Radin routes tasks according to sensitivity and deployment posture. Confirm the selected posture, provider, access controls, and permitted data before activation. Begin with a bounded workflow and review answer quality, unresolved questions, and the manager’s ability to verify the result.
Questions to take into a demo
- Can the answer be checked against the relevant operational record?
- Does the assistant respect the requester’s permissions?
- Which actions require explicit human confirmation?
- Where is each task processed under the selected deployment posture?
